STI & HIV Testing and Treatment

HUG (Healthcare Unity Group)

BCLA is excited to be partnering with HUG (Healthcare Unity Group) - a nonprofit service providing low-cost testing for STIs and HIV, as well as access to PrEP. HUG provides in-person and  online service that operates through a fully secure and confidential / HIPAA compliant arrangement. HUG also provides in-person nutrition counseling and chiropractic care in their Jersey City office - see their flyer for details or follow HUG  on social media. You can also see their weekly virtual events here.

BCLA is providing walk-in and phone-based access to scheduling and receiving HUG services, which are provided online or with at-home kits. Walk-in scheduling is available Mondays from 10am to 2pm at our BCLA office at Central Unitarian Church, 156 Forest Avenue, Paramus NJ. Or contact us by our office phone line at 201-375-3549.

Anal Cancer Screening

Some members of the LGBTQ+ community are at higher risk for anal cancer, and simple screening tests can save lives. You can call Englewood Health at 201-608-2800 to schedule a screening and most major health insurances are accepted.
