BCLA LGBTQ+ Families Group Kickoff Picnic!

BCLA is hosting its first ever LGBTQ+ Families Group Picnic! The picnic is for LGBTQ+ parents and caregivers with young children. It will be held Sunday, July 26th at 2pm at the Glen Rock Duck Pond, Alan Ave in Glen Rock, NJ. We will meet at the covered pavillion between the parking area and the family playground - here is a map of the pond area that shows where to park and to meet. Please bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and games for kids. Email HCraig@BergenCountyLGBTQ.org for more info or with questions.

Hudson Pride LGBTQ+ Mental Health Summit

Save the Date! Saturday, August 8th 9am-4:30pm at HCCC Culinary Conference Center, 161 Newkirk Street, Jersey City, NJ.

This FREE, community-centered summit will bring together:

• Social workers, educators, mental health providers, healthcare professionals, and youth-serving staff

• Families, caregivers, and community members who support LGBTQ+ youth

• Youth leaders and young adults

New Online LGBTQ+ Literary Magazine Not Quite Right

This new online literary magazine will publish poetry, essays, and short fiction. They're queer-run (but not queer-exclusive) and looking to hear from new and interesting voices. They are currently accepting submissions and the first issue is scheduled to go live during Pride Month this June.
